PIANIST
Pianist Xiaolu Zang is gaining international recognition as a thoughtful, expressive artist of his generation. A First and Audience Prize laureate at the Maria Canals International Music Competition and Second Prize at the Paloma O’Shea Santander International Piano Competition, he has appeared at the Auditorio Nacional de Música (Madrid), Palau de la Música Catalana, Palacio Euskalduna, Regentenbau Bad Kissingen, Salle Cortot, and Teatro Municipal de Santiago, and with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid, Bilbao Orkestra Sinfonikoa, Orquesta Sinfónica RTVE, Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie Konstanz, and Niedersächsisches Staatsorchester Hannover.
